We provide a holistic approach to our care and understand the importance of caregiver involvement in therapy sessions to learn, grow, and support carryover into everyday life.

We specialize in DIR Floortime, caregiver coaching, as well as offering education for families and professionals through consulting and providing resources.

Together we identify needs, strengths, and partner with you to overcome challenges. We specialize in supporting regulation, motor skills, and executive functioning. We seek to support your underlying skill areas in order for you to complete all activities of your every day life with greater ease and new found joy.

What are activities of daily life? Anything and everything: sleeping, bathing, dressing, being able to go from one activity to another, engaging and socializing with others, playing, being, and doing in your community.

Through safe, trusting relationships, we meet you where you are, we empower you to spark meaningful connections within yourself, with others, and within your communities.

“I became an occupational therapist because I enjoy helping others. I naturally bring a sense of fun and joy into my work. I appreciate a challenge and enjoy thinking, collaborating, and problem-solving with others.”

— Sharon Ninedorf, MS, OT/L

Meet Sharon:

Sharon Ninedorf, founder and DIRFloortime therapist at Spark Connections, brings over 15 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist (OT) to her practice. As a mother of three, Sharon can speak of her experiences and the effectiveness of the DIRFloortime approach in her own family and appreciates the neuro-affirming lens it uses.

When my husband and I struggled to find support for our children, I began taking courses on my own to give our kids the support they needed. I learned more about topics such as autism, sensory processing, executive functioning, regulation and sensory health. I want to share what I have learned with more people and help fill the gaps in support so many families experience. ”

Sharon Ninedorf

Sharon’s compassionate, warm, and playful nature naturally draws children to her. Guided by a deep curiosity to understand the 'why' behind behaviors and challenges, she seeks to tailor her support to each individual's needs. She views herself as a lifelong learner, finding inspiration in the unique strengths and experiences of every child and family she serves.

As a provider, Sharon strives to empathize with, encourage, educate, and empower individuals, families, and professionals.
